Molded Silicone: Molded silicone products are typically made by placing solid silicone raw material with added vulcanizing agent into a high-temperature mold, then applying pressure through a vulcanizing machine to solidify it at high temperature. The hardness of molded silicone is typically between 30°C and 70°C. Color paste is mixed with the raw material according to Pantone color codes to create the color. The shape of the mold determines the shape of the molded silicone product. Molded silicone products are the most widely used type in the silicone industry. They are mainly used for making silicone industrial parts, buttons, silicone gifts, silicone bracelets, silicone watches, keychains, phone cases, silicone kitchenware, silicone mats, ice cube trays, cake molds, etc.
Extruded Silicone: Extruded silicone products are typically formed by extruding silicone using an extrusion machine. Extruded silicone is generally in long strips or tubular shapes that can be cut to any size. However, the shapes of extruded silicone are somewhat limited. It is widely used in medical devices and food machinery.
Liquid Silicone: Liquid silicone products are formed by injection molding. The products are soft and can achieve a hardness of 10°-40°. Due to its softness, it is widely used in simulated human organs, medical silicone breast pads, etc.
Specialty products: Specialty silicone products are made based on the chemical properties of silicone or the addition of some auxiliary materials. Specialty silicone products may also have high temperature resistance (up to 330 degrees Celsius), food grade (fully compliant with US FDA and LFGB standards), medical grade, flame retardant grade, and by adding auxiliary materials, they may also have properties such as glow-in-the-dark, negative ion, and color-changing.
